How did the Buffalo Bills do against the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020?

The Buffalo Bills advanced to the AFC Championship Game on Jan. 24 by downing the Baltimore Ravens, 17-3, on Saturday in Orchard Park, NY.

The Bills and #BillsMafia await to find out whether they will have a home game against the Cleveland Browns or travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The Browns and Bills did not play in 2020. The Chiefs and Bills played, although it took a while to get the game in during the regular season.

The COVID-19 pandemic impacted the game, which was originally scheduled for Oct. 15. The Bills’ schedule was affected by the Tennessee Titans’ coronavirus issues.

That caused the Bills-Titans game to be moved and subsequently, the Chiefs-Bills game was moved to Sunday, Oct. 18 but it did not happen on that date, either.

Finally, the game was played on Monday with the Chiefs downing the Bills, 26-17 in a driving rainstorm.

Patrick Mahomes threw for 225 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Travis Kelce. Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for 161 yards on 26 carries.

Josh Allen also threw for two TDs but accounted for 122 yards through the air. He ran for 28 yards.

The Browns and Bills did play in 2019 with Cleveland winning, 19-16, at home.

Rashard Higgins caught a 7-yard pass from Baker Mayfield with 1:44 left for the deciding score.

Mayfield threw for 238 yards and a pair of TDs. His counterpart, Allen was good for 266 yards but no scores.
