Simon Barlow has been on the soap for over ten years - and in that time he's transformed from a cute boy to one of the street's bad boys.
Simon, played by Alex Bain, first appeared on screen in 2008 as an adorable child.
Peter Barlow brought Simon to the street after his mum Lucy was diagnosed with ovarian cancer - and sadly passed away.
Peter and Simon moved in with Ken, Deirdre and Blanche for a short time - before moving into the bookies.
After a fire at the bookies Peter vows to give up drinking and makes a go of it with Leanne - with him and Simon finally happy.
But after Peter's affair with Carla in 2012 Simon refuses to get along with his dad's new partner, spending as much time as possible at Ken and Deirdre's.
Eventually Peter allows Simon to go and live with Leanne, while he and Carla sail down to Lanzarote.
Peter plays with Leanne's emotions and just as she is due to marry Nick, Peter comes back into her life and Leanne realises she can't marry Nick - leaving Simon devastated.
Leanne eventually gets with Kal Nazir in 2015- but when he dies in the Victoria Court explosion Simon's behaviour gets worse and worse, as he struggles to cope with his loss.
Simon starts a campaign of domestic violence towards Leanne, resulting in her being hospitalised. Eventually Simon moves in with Ken, as Leanne is simply unable to look after him anymore.
Eventually Simon and Leanne get back on track and a pregnant Leanne decides to move to Liverpool with him in 2016.
But Nick arrives at the coach station as they're due to leave, knowing about the baby and persuades Leanne to stay.
After a period of relative stability Simon again starts to act out and in October 2017 he forces Summer to smoke spice.
Simon is expelled from school and placed in a pupil referral unit, which leaves Peter and Leanne devestated.
Simon begins misbehaving and rebelling, getting in with a gang that mug Audrey Roberts and make him smash car windows.
He steals cash from Toyah's purse and blackmails her over her plan to have Eva's baby.
Eventually Toyah comes clean to Peter and the pair have a heart to heart.
As Amy announces she's pregnant Tracey and Steve think Simon is the father, after discovering several texts between the pair about the baby.
But it's eventually revealed that Tyler is the father and Simon was just seeing if Amy was ok.
As Peter's boat catches fire Simon escapes death again as he is pulled from the boat, before the flames engulf him.
But will Simon turn over a new leaf? or continue to be the soap's new bad boy?
