How cold Liverpool will get this week and when it will be warmer

After warmer weather last week, with highs of 22C in Liverpool, there's definitely been a noticeable drop in temperature.

The weather has taken a turn this week, with the Met Office predicting lows of 11C, which will actually feel more like 8C due to wind and rain.

This summer was considered a washout for some, with grey skies over much of England during August.

And with winter on the horizon, many of us are wondering if we'll see any warmer weather any time soon.

The Met Office predicts a variety of weather over the coming week, with some days due to be warmer than others.

Thursday afternoon is set to be the highest point of the week - with highs of 16C.

Here is a run down on the weather you can expect in Liverpool this week:

Thursday September 30

Light rainfall is predicted which will change to cloud in the afternoon.

Thursday will be slightly warmer at 16C but temperatures could drop to 14C as the day goes on.

Friday October 1

Heavy rain will be back on Friday but will be changing to sun as the day goes on. There will be a high of 15C and a low of 11C.

Saturday October 2

Saturday morning will consist of cloudy weather and light rain in the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to 14C and drop to 11C.

Sunday October 3

Sunday will just see spots of rain throughout the day. Early morning will be cloudy but by late morning this will change to sun.

Temperatures will get to 15C and could go down to 13C.

Monday October 4

Monday will get off to a cloudy start, but there'll be sunny intervals by late morning.

You can expect highs of 15C, dropping to 12C in the late afternoon.

Tuesday October 5

Early morning will be cloudy but by late morning this will change to sunny intervals.

Highs of 15C, and lows of 12C.
