Chelsea picked up a comfortable three points against Newcastle on Saturday.
Frank Lampard's side were in dominant form, giving the hosts at St James' Park little opportunity to make an impact in an attacking sense.
The Blues took the lead via a Federico Fernandez own goal after just 10 minutes, with the defender unable to sort his feet out while attempting to deal with Mason Mount's low cross.
And though it took some time to add to that goal, Tammy Abraham eventually sealed all three points with 25 minutes remaining, in a game that Chelsea dominated.
The Chelsea players had a long trip back to London from the North East of England, and took to social media to praise the confident win - and yet another Chelsea clean sheet.
That win took Chelsea to the top of the Premier League - if only for a matter of hours, with Spurs later leapfrogging them after their win against Manchester City.
Lampard's side are now seven games unbeaten in the Premier League, with their last defeat coming back in September against champions Liverpool.
The Blues have been in fine form since then, and are the top scorers in the division with 22 goals in their opening nine league games.
Up next for the Blues is a trip to face Rennes in the Champions League on Tuesday, with a huge clash against Spurs and former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
