How Chelsea can clinch a Champions League spot this weekend ahead of Arsenal & Manchester United

The race for a Champions League spot looks as if it will go down to the wire after a number of twists and turns over the past few weeks.

Looking set to be between Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United for the final place not so long ago, Spurs' bad run of form at the end of February and in March has seen all four sides battling it out for the last two spots.

The Lilywhites, who are currently in third and four points ahead of Arsenal in fifth with two games remaining, will clinch Champions League football for next season providing they beat Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

Chelsea can also do likewise this weekend if results go in their favour.

Maurizio Sarri's team are currently in the driving seat for the final place as they have a two-point cushion over the Gunners with two games remaining.

For the Blues to return to the Champions League they need to beat Watford on Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge and hope both Arsenal and Manchester United fail to win.

However, it looks like it will go down to the final day with the former hosting Brighton & Hove Albion and the latter travelling to basement boys Huddersfield Town.

Chelsea face a tricky game on the final day as they play Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, with Arsenal away at Burnley and United at home to Cardiff City.

If the Blues do indeed missing out on a top-four finish next Sunday, they can still qualify for the Champions League providing they win the Europa League final in Azerbaijan at the end of the month.

The UEFA rule change that means fourth is no different to third for Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs
