How Celtic and Rangers Europa League ticket prices compare as clubs announce packages for group stage ties

Celtic and Rangers have released ticket information for their Europa League group games, with supporters at Ibrox asked to shell out nearly £50 more.

The two remaining Premiership representatives in Europe have three home matches starting this month as they bid to reach the knockout stage.

Winning the group will guarantee a place in the last 32, with the runners-up going into a play-off with the third-placed teams from the Champions League groups.

Even third will bring European football beyond Christmas, with those sides dropping into the Europa Conference League.

Rangers take on French giants Lyon, as well as Sparta Prague and Danish outfit Brondby.

Meanwhile, Celtic will face Bayer Leverkusen, Real Betis and Hungarian champions Ferencvaros.

Both clubs have released their ticket pricing plans ahead of the three matches, with Rangers fans asked to shell out more than their counterparts across the city.

Season ticket holders will be charged £117 for the three games, with concession tickets at £84 and juniors £60.

For non season ticket holders the top end price will be £129, with the other tickets priced at £96 and £72.

Celtic's three match package for season ticket holders is priced at £72 for adults, £57 for concessions and £42 for under-13s.

That's a cost of £24 per match as opposed to £39 at Ibrox, though the Parkhead club have not released prices for non season ticket holders.

Rangers will put any tickets not taken by season ticket holders and MyGers members on sale on September 13, a few days before they welcome Lyon.
