How can women navigate their health through different life stages?

We should understand the importance of women's health every day, because a healthy woman lays the foundation of a strong society. Women’s health evolves over time and certainly it requires effective treatments at numerous stages of life. Incorporating a healthy lifestyle is important for women to remain healthy.

Ages 16 to 30: Building the foundation

At this age woman is at her young age and faces heavy chances of undernourishment due her unhealthy eating patterns and lifestyle. Women require a diet rich in micro nutrients, iron folate specially when she is pregnant. Around 70% of women in the world are undernourished and suffer from the deficiency of iron, vitamin D and zinc.

This stage comes with life changes in terms of schooling, professional life, and interpersonal relationships, which are often followed by stress and mental health concerns.

Ages 30 to 45: Managing responsibilities

As time passes and the woman falls under the age of 30 to 40 she faces huge nutritional gaps, specially iron, vitamin D, and calcium, becoming more visible as she experiences back aches, aches in knees etc. Many women prefer doing exercises, meditation to focus on their health during the later years of life.

They have high physical and psychological load from juggling careers, children, and personal goals can sometimes trigger stress and tension. Regular health screenings, including mammograms and cholesterol checks, become more essential for early disease detection.

Ages 45 to 60: Navigating menopause & aging

When menopause hits the women's health it brings hormonal changes and this leads to hot flashes, sleep disturbances, and especially bone density loss. The risk of chronic health problems such as osteoporosis and cardiovascular problems increases the demand for a nutrient- rich diet and regular exercise to keep health on top.

Mood fluctuations and cognitive changes are common that happen during menopause. In this situation it becomes important to seek medical guidance as this helps women to manage herself in this transitive situation.

Educating women about their health, making them aware of balanced nutrition and the positive impacts of exercise and meditation can bring the change for their long term well- being. Addressing deficiencies through proper nutrition and diet ensures better health outcomes. Women should take Iron rich food such as spinach and green leafy vegetables, calcium and Vitamin D is also essential for their health. Taking fiber-rich foods support digestion and gut health it also nourishes gut bacteria. Whole grains, beans, fruits, vegetables, and seeds help prevent constipation, improve metabolism, and enhance overall digestive function. Consuming a balanced diet is important for every woman's health. Empowering women with knowledge and resources is essential to build a healthier society.

By emphasizing on preventive care, women can lead a healthier and more fulfilling life at every stage.
