Every week a Guardian Money reader submits a question, and it’s up to you to help him or her out – a selection of the best answers will appear in next Saturday’s paper.
This week’s question:
My boyfriend has a bottle in which he periodically puts all his loose change, claiming it’s his way of saving. It’s annoying as he never pays for any parking, etc. How can I explain it’s just a jar of his own money? What do people do with all these coins?
