Work ethics is a fortnightly feature in Guardian Work where a reader submits a workplace dilemma and asks for your help. A selection of the best answers will appear in Saturday's paper. (And if you have a dilemma you'd like to share, anonymously, with our readers, please email us.)
This week's question
My boss is like Gordon Ramsay – not, sadly, due to his cooking skills, but for his bad language, which is blue bordering on farmyard. Occasional swearing would be fine, but I find his language beyond the pale. I want to ask him to tone it down but fear ridicule as some colleagues actually seem to enjoy it. How should I approach this?
What are your thoughts?
