How Cabot Circus shoppers can get free money as 'Chase Octagon' opens

A digital bank is offering shoppers in Bristol the chance to get their hands on some free money this week.

Chase launched its 'Octagon experience' in Cabot Circus yesterday (Thursday, December 9) and is giving away thousands of pounds worth of gift cards for free.

Each visitor to the experience will receive a £5 gift card and be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win up to £1,000 to spend on themselves or a loved one.

Three lucky winners a day will also receive a £100 gift card, and one winner during the week will win a £1,000 gift card.

The Octagon is said to give shoppers a moment away from the hustle and bustle of festive shopping to explore an immersive sensory experience that enhances their shopping visit.

Each five-minute experience is selected by the visitor based on their mood, including sessions to relax those in need of an unwind, invigorating light displays to energise shoppers who are feeling tired, and interactive creative activities to entertain shoppers.

Visitors to the Octagon are required to book the experience on the day and are subject to availability, and you must be 18+ to book.

It will be running until Tuesday, December 14.

Deborah Keay, Chief Marketing Officer of Chase’s new digital bank in the UK, said: “We’ve created the Octagon to give shoppers an opportunity to experience Chase in an exciting new way.

"By offering thousands of pounds worth of giveaways and a moment away from the hustle and bustle, we hope people enjoy a more rewarding in-store shopping experience this festive season.

“But wherever you shop, we’re dedicated to making the festive season more rewarding for our customers this year by offering cashback on everyday items - both online and in the shops – as well as five per cent interest on small change round-ups to help customers set aside and save as they spend.”
