How boring is isolation for Bam Adebayo? He feels his mom is even getting sick of him.

It's no secret Bam Adebayo is bored with his self-isolated lifestyle.

Every day, the Miami Heat post player takes to Twitter to share his "mood," picking out a GIF or video _ usually from a cartoon _ to sum up how he and most of the world are feeling these days. "Mood Pt. 25," posted Monday, was a clip from "SpongeBob SquarePants" of SpongeBob bored in a boating school class. "Mood Pt. 24," posted Sunday, was a short clip of Kobe Bryant shaking his head and burying his face in his hands.

Adebayo is grateful he lives in the same Miami condominium has his mother _ he lives on the 48th floor and Marilyn Blount lives on the fifth _ but now he even wonders if she's getting tired of him.

"We're bored. I feel like she gets tired of seeing me now," Adebayo said. "I go down there every day and I just be sitting down there talking to her. I know she be like, I'm sick of seeing you."

Adebayo found a different sort of diversion Tuesday.

The All-Star spent about 30 minutes talking to Heat courtside reporter Jason Jackson on the NBA's Instagram page. The conversation ranged from talk about his breakout season, his appreciation for Michigan Wolverines coach Juwan Howard and his brother-like relationship with Jimmy Butler.

Adebayo also revealed what he's doing while the NBA remains suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

His tweets, apparently, are a good window into his psyche.

"It's just Twitter," Adebayo said with a laugh. "I'm posting my mood every day _ not really my mood, but it relates to how everybody's feeling in this quarantine. I feel like a lot of them hit home to some people on how bored they are, so that's how I'm occupying my time."

Adebayo said he hasn't touched a regulation basketball since social-distancing measures were put in place. He's getting his light basketball fix by shooting _ mostly dunking _ on a miniature hoop he has in his home.

With all the extra free time and no access to Miami's facilities, Adebayo is searching for ways to stay active in his downtown condo. He has a Peloton exercise bike he has been using and he's taking advantage of his balcony to get some physical activity. He has also been taking care of his mother's dog and he said he thinks Zeus has actually enjoyed spending time with him.

"Zeus, for the most part, is enjoying my company," Adebayo said, "because we're running around, just trying to be active."

The Heat is also using Zoom Video Communications to keep in touch and do team workouts. Adebayo said he has talked to Butler a little bit, but the All-Star wing mostly "stays to himself."

A lot of Adebayo's time, though, has been occupied by just thinking. There's a lot of time for it.

"It just makes you realize how fast something that you work so hard for can be taken," Adebayo said. "All you're doing is sitting in the house and reflecting. Just being in here, you're like, Man, I want to go play basketball, but I can't."
