How Bolton Wanderers fans can buy tickets for Preston North End pre-season friendly

Bolton Wanderers have received 600 tickets for the upcoming pre-season friendly against Championship side Preston North End.

The Trotters head to the County Ground in Leyland to take on Frankie McAvoy's PNE as part of their busy pre-season schedule where seven fixtures for the first team have been confirmed.

Kick-off will be 7pm on Tuesday, July 20, and Wanderers fans will be able to purchase tickets shortly.

Bolton season ticket holders will be able to buy from 10am on Wednesday, July 7, with one ticket per person.

Subject to availability, tickets will go on general sale from 10am on Friday, July 9, with prices ranging from £10 for adults and £5 for over 65s and under 18s.

It is due to be the first game back where a full crowd is possible after the Government announced that capacity crowds can return to sporting venues from July 19.

Season ticket sales have now passed the 9,000 mark at the University of Bolton Stadium ahead of the League One campaign, which Wanderers begin against MK Dons at home on Saturday, August 7.

Wanderers CEO Neil Hart said: “Yesterday’s government announcement was the news we’ve all been waiting for and we cannot wait to welcome all our fans back to the University of Bolton Stadium for what will be another exciting season.

“Ian and his staff have been busy throughout the summer assembling a competitive squad and with more than 9,000 Wanderers fans already buying season tickets, everybody at the club cannot wait for the season to start.

“And with capacity restrictions set to be lifted, now is the time to Join The Journey and get behind the team to make next season at the University of Bolton Stadium one to remember.”
