How big of a favorite are the 49ers over the Packers?

The San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers will meet Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in the NFC Championship Game.

The top-seeded Niners thrashed the Packers in their regular-season meeting, 37-8, stifling Green Bay and limiting Aaron Rodgers to 104 yards passing.

San Francisco is 3-4 all-time against Green Bay in the playoffs. The 49ers have a 2-2 home record against the Packers in the postseason.

1/6/96 at SF: Green Bay rolled 27-17 in this divisional-round game. Brett Favre went 21-for-28 for 299 yards and two TDs.

1/4/97 at GB: The Packers dominated the divisional round game 35-14 en route to the Super Bowl title.

1/11/98: at SF: Green Bay won the NFC Championship Game 23-10, holding the 49ers to 33 yards rushing.

1/13/02: at GB: The Packers won this Wild-Card matchup, 25-15. The game was tied 15-15 early in the fourth quarter.

1/12/13: at SF: The 49ers took this Divisional-round game, 45-31, behind Colin Kaepernick, who threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 181 yards and two scores.

1/5/14: at GB: Phil Dawson’s 33-yard field goal on the final play gave the 49ers a 23-20 win at Lambeau Field in this wild-card game.
