Thursday night's thriller in Flanders left mouths agape across Glasgow and the reaction was no different over in Belgium.
Rangers' nailbiting 4-3 victory over Royal Antwerp was a European tie for the ages as the Ibrox side twice came from behind to win.
Joe Aribo seemed to get Steven Gerrard's side off the the perfect start but Antwerp hit back through a fantastic Filipe Avenatti header and Lior Refaelov's softly-given penalty.
Borna Barisic slotted the first of two penalties for the visitors but the Great Old surged ahead again thanks to Martin Hongla's long-ranged effort.
With seven minutes to go, substitute Ryan Kent blasted home before Abdoulaye Seck was penalised and shown a second yellow card for handball - allowing Barisic to decide the game from 12 yards.
The reaction throughout the Belgian press is one of regret, with a feeling that Frank Vercauteren's side were the masters of their own demise.
They'll need a two-goal win in most cases at Ibrox next week to negate the flurry of away goals Rangers now hold, with many journalists claiming that would amount to a "miracle" given the Premiership leaders' unbeaten home record - but Didier Lamkel Ze's imminent return from suspension offers a glimmer of hope.
HLN said: "Everyone knows that scoring right away is never bad. Well, the Great Old gave the concept a new dimension. Because Roofe was also forced to leave before half time, the first half took a long time. Very long.
"Eight (!) minutes after regular time had expired, Refaelov made it 2-1. Has there been a later goal in the first half this season? Again Rafa was decisive, with a penalty, which he himself had cleverly provoked. Since he won the Golden Shoe in mid-January, Refaelov has only managed one goal and one assist. A dip in form that he resolutely put an end to last night.
"First defeat in Europe this season for Rangers FC? Well. The end of the match was captivating. Ryan Kent made it 3-3 with a nice slalom, Hongla missed face-to-face with McGregor up the other end.

"With six minutes added, Seck touched the ball with his hand in his own box. A second yellow for the Senegalese, and another penalty for Rangers. Barisic didn't hesitate and hit the 3-4 on the board. It almost became 4-4 when Miyoshi hit the post. Rangers FC deservedly won, although we are really curious what that will bring next week at Ibrox. Without Seck, but with Mbokani (?) and Lamkel Zé."
Peter Goris of Gazet van Antwerpen wrote: "'The Invincibles.' In 40 games (league, cup and Europe) the Rangers had only lost once. In the cup. In their nine games in the Europa League this season, they had never lost, they only conceded 8 goals and scored 24. 'Statistics are there to be broken,' said Vercauteren. That seemed to work until a few minutes before the end. Unfortunately. Unfortunately. Unfortunately.
"Antwerp did not deserve to lose to this Rangers. On the contrary. The Great Old proved itself to be the equal, played football freely and ensured an unforgettable football evening, a European party.
"But unfortunately also one with a sour ending. Next week Antwerp can go to Glasgow with Lamkel Zé and maybe even Mbokani. Only another crazy football evening will be able to save Antwerp. So a miracle. We dream along."
Nieuwsblad 's Ludo Vandewalle wasn't surprised to see Jekyll and Hyde keeper Alireza Beiranvand commit a howler at Aribo's opener but was especially disappointed in experienced skipper Ritchie De Laet for his tug on Alfredo Morelos, which led to Barisic's first spot-kick after a VAR review.
He wrote: "Alireza Beiranvand has been the subject of much discussion. Is the Iranian a good goalkeeper or not? The man regularly stops difficult balls, is impressive in physique. Good one on one and hard to beat on his line. It all happens unorthodox but a goalkeeper has only one thing to do: stop balls. Beiranvand does that.
"But unfortunately for Antwerp, sometimes not. How he offered Rangers FC the 0-1 on a saucer is of course not possible at this level. If the Antwerp goalkeeper continues to blunder in this way, his clever saves are easily forgotten.
"If you know with Beiranvand what you're dealing with, De Laet's intervention came as a surprise for the 2-2. He thought it necessary to pull Morelos on the jersey. Not smart with all those cameras around the field and a video ref with a magnifying glass.
"This allowed Rangers to score twice in a way that could be avoided. At 3-3, the Antwerp defenders were there and looked at it. One of the most stable defences in the country went bare. The 3-4 was especially unfortunate.

"With a draw it could probably still go in all directions. Next week, Antwerp will recuperate a few players, including Lamkel Zé. Who knows what the Cameroonian can achieve there. But win 0-2 against a team that only lost once this season? It takes half a miracle."
HBVL added: "Now say again that Vercauteren does not provide the spectacle.
"Antwerp scored three times against the (supposedly) defensively strong Rangers. The only flaw is that the Scots made one more. Now it is very difficult in Glasgow. The Great Old has to win with two goals difference.
"Hello, Lamkel Zé?"
