How Arsenal would line up if Unai Emery had signed all his summer transfer targets

Arsenal were linked to every Tom, Dick and Harry over the summer as manager Unai Emery made it clear he wanted to strengthen his side for the season.

The Gunners' biggest challenge was finding players on a limited budget in an ever-inflating market - something they managed, in hindsight.

Emery needed a left-back and signed one of the highest calibre in Kieran Tierney for just £25million. The Spaniard then went one step further by parting with a club-record £72million to sign Nicolas Pepe, but doing so in installments to get around budget issues.

Of course Emery wasn't able to sign everyone he had his eye on. But if he had - in an ultimate dream scenario - Arsenal may have looked something like the below this season.

Bernd Leno - The shot-stopper has established himself as Emery's No.1 despite some shaky performances this season.

Hector Bellerin - Has been out with an injury but is expected to waltz back into the first team when he returns to full fitness.

David Luiz - The Gunners pulled off something off a coup when they signed the Premier League experienced centre-back from Chelsea for just £8million.

Dayot Upamecano - Arsenal were linked with the young French centre-back all summer. Has the potential to be a world-class operator one day.

Kieran Tierney - Emery pulled off another coup in landing the young Scottish left-back from Celtic. Like Bellerin, he's expected to walk into the first team once he's fully fit.

Youri Tielemans - Impressed on loan at Leicester City and was up for grabs in the summer but returned to the King Power Stadium on a permanent basis.

Steven N'Zonzi - Has been linked to Arsenal since before Emery's rein but is reportedly the man the Spaniard wanted instead of Lucas Torreira.

Dani Ceballos - Joined Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid this summer and has hit the ground running. The Gunners will likely try and sign him permanently at the end of the season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - The jewel in Arsenal's crown. The man who gets the goals in this Gunners side.

Nicolas Pepe - Arsenal's record signing and the man Emery turned to after giving up on trying to land Wilfried Zaha. Has struggled to settle in but is set to come good.

Alexandre Lacazette - The Frenchman has spent time in and out of the first team under Emery, but given Aubameyang is deployed out left, he is the club's best front man.
