How Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham compare for average attendances this season

Arsenal and West Ham have two of the best attendance records in English football.

An average of 60,301 people have attended the Gunners’ home league games so far this season according to  worldfootbal.net .

For West Ham that average stands at 59,917.

It means that both clubs are operating at 99.9% of capacity so far this season. No other clubs in the top four divisions of English football are filling their stadiums to that level.

Norwich City have the next best record at 99.3% followed by Manchester City at 98.7%.

Arsenal and West Ham also have the second and third best records in terms of average attendance. Only Manchester United (73,491) are attracting larger crowds.

Four EFL clubs make it into the top 20.

Leeds United have the 11th highest average attendance in the country at 34,956.

Sunderland have the 16th highest average (30,279), Nottingham Forest have the 18th highest (27,782) and Derby have the 20th highest (26,979).
