Liverpool manager Arne Slot could land Celtic a transfer windfall.
The Dutchman is reportedly keen to bring his fellow countryman Jeremie Frimpong to Anfield.
The right-back spent a year and a half in Glasgow's east end before being sold to Bayer Leverkusen in January 2021.

Frimpong has since thrived in Germany and won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal last season.
He could be on the move this summer, however, and any deal that sees Frimpong leave Leverkusen may have a significant impact on Celtic, with the club holding a sell-on clause as part of the sale of the player to the Bundesliga outfit in 2021.
Indeed, it was believed at the time that the Parkhead club would be owed 30 per cent of any future profit made on Frimpong by Leverkusen.
Slot could help Celtic land such a windfall. German transfer insider Christian Falk says he has been speaking to the 24-year-old about a switch: "Jeremie Frimpong and Arne Slot were on the phone a lot last month," said Falk [Record].
"Both are Dutch, and Slot wanted to sign him in the summer.
"The Liverpool head coach had been telling the full-back he was still keen to get him."
Celtic will watch on with a vested interest this summer.
They are yet to be guaranteed their colossal Champions League windfall and have to go through a play-off to reach the prestigious league phase, despite wrapping up the Scottish Premiership title at Tannadice the weekend before last.
