Amanda Holden has accused Phillip Schofield of costing her a plum presenting job on This Morning last year but we can reveal their row could date back to 2015.
Back in 2015 Amanda filled in for co-host Holly Willoughby who was on maternity leave for 12 months.
Their row is believed to have reached fever pitch after Amanda was turned down to replace Holly again when she jetted into the jungle for I'm A Celeb but our body language expert believes resentment may have taken its grip earlier.
Judi James looked at a show reel from Amanda's 2015 year on This Morning and says she can see anger bubbling beneath the surface.
Here's her verdict:
First it was Lorraine performing a very blatant-looking PDAD (Public Display of Active Dislike) when Esther McVey popped up on the show and now it seems rumours have it that Amanda was never quite as smitten with co-presenter Phil as all her giggles and laughter at the time would have viewers believe.
Watching Amanda being ‘treated’ to all her best bits on the show from a very ebullient-looking Phil there are several clues about her reaction that she is less than happy to be there. Firstly there’s her lean away from her co-host, which is in direct contrast to all the tactile stuff we see on her Best Bits clips.
Her arms are folded tight around her torso to create not just a barrier but also an angry-looking barrier as her free hand appears to be balled into a fist while her other hand is tucked under her arm despite the fact it’s holding her cue cards, which are a presenter’s lifeline on any live show.
When Phil raises both hands in a fun kind of a gesture and calls Amanda ‘…absolutely stunning and amazing’ Amanda throws a glance at the camera that hints at a sense of irony or even sarcasm. She does touch Phil on the arm but it’s more of a ‘stop’ gesture as though worried about what she’s about to see on the VT.
