Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain took another step closer to a return to Liverpool's first-team this season in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Bury this week.
The England international was part of a Reds side made up largely of the club's Under-23 players that took on the League Two outfit at Liverpool's Academy in Kirkby.
Oxlade-Chamberlain - who made his first return from a serious knee injury in the Under-23s' match against Derby County last month , playing for around 40 minutes - managed to play for around an hour of the game, with no injury issues reported in a boost to Jurgen Klopp.
He hasn't featured for the Reds' first-team for year, after rupturing knee ligaments in the Champions League semi-final against Roma last season.

Teenage forward Rhian Brewster also featured in the match as he continued his comeback from his own knee problem.
Brewster scored twice in a friendly against an American College side last month, and also completed an hour against Bury along with Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Joe Gomez had been due to play in the game as he steps up his recovery from a broken leg, but an injury for Alberto Moreno saw him promoted to first-team duty for the Champions League quarter-final against Porto at Anfield on Tuesday night.
Gomez was an unused substitute in the 2-0 win .
