How about a price tag on Jeremy Hunt?

May we assume that following its recently announced policy of labelling prescription drugs (Medicine price tags ‘a gimmick’ that may worry elderly patients, 7 August), the Department of Health will require big pharma and the other buccaneer companies now profiteering from the NHS to label their dividend certificates “Funded by the UK taxpayer”? Perhaps that would have a more therapeutic effect?

• Better yet, Jeremy, how about tying a price tag around your own neck reading “funded by the UK taxpayer”. Surely the majority of the people taking these medicines are, or have been, UK taxpayers?
