A Tinder user has revealed how she had the perfect date with a man she had met on the widely-used app - only for it to turn VERY sour.
Alita Brydon had got to know the man in question, enjoying "intimate" messages, but they had somewhat of a long-distance (and strictly virtual) relationship.
But, finally their diaries aligned and, after travelling two hours to meet, the pair enjoyed a drink, reports Birmingham Live.
Alita reckons it was the "perfect" date - and could be forgiven for thinking he was 'The One'.
"I saw him confidently approaching me, striding past the Asian grocer, the dingy Chinese takeout," she revealed.
"Without saying a word he laid his lips on me, laid his palm on my lower back and kissed me.
"It was happening. Everything was coming together."
Alita returned home with happiness in her heart and excitement for her future.
But, when her Tinder app buzzed, she was shocked to see a message from him: "Stay away from my boyfriend."
Apparently, Alita said she didn't know who she was, and the woman quickly explained everything.
The man had a girlfriend he was planning to propose to, it turns out, with a ring bought and everything.
A heartbroken Alita told MamaMia: "I would never pursue a man who had a partner.
"And I would do anything to undo hurt caused to the woman I upset. But I did not know.
"So, all I can take from the experience is a piercing and cold lesson. Be careful who you trust."
