Houthi militants in Sanaa, Yemen (Reuters)

Giants Brigades affirmed that the Iranian-supported Houthi militias targeted Wednesday morning a Red Cross aid truck at Tuhayat District, south of Hodeida.

In a statement published on Facebook, Giants Brigades said that the Houthi militia targeted a Red Cross aid truck at Tuhayat District. It added that the Houthis are targeting food trucks provided by international organizations to citizens on the west coast – Houthis are attempting to intimidate the humanitarian organizations and force them out of the area.

Saudi Arabia has revealed on Wednesday that it sent military reinforcements to Yemen’s Hajjah, north-west of the country, to join the Arab coalition backing the legitimate national army. A military source said that aids included armored vehicles, engineering teams and hundreds of soldiers.

In the last few days, Houthis sent military reinforcements to Abs and Mustab directorates in Hajjah governorate, after the Yemeni national army pushed the militias out of nearby Hairan directorate.

September Net reported from a field source that the army has regained control of a huge quantity of arms and ammunition – he added that the army foiled a number of attempts by militias to infiltrate into the liberated areas in Maran.

Abdulkarim al-Sadei lauded the role of the Arab Coalition in backing the Army in its operations. He also expressed gratitude to the sheiks and residents of Saada for their support to the army.
