The Iran-backed Houthi militias committed a new humanitarian crime on Friday when they indiscriminately shelled a relief camp in Yemen’s Khokha region.
The three shells targeted a King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) camp, leaving a woman dead and dozens of people injured, many critically.
KSRelief condemned the crime that showed complete disregard to human rights and International Humanitarian Law, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
The center called on the United Nations and its agencies to condemn the crime.
It also urged it to assume its humanitarian responsibilities in confronting Houthi crimes that have spread suffering and corruption throughout Yemen.
