Houthi Ballistic Missile Crashes in Yemen

Arab Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki. (SPA)

The Arab coalition announced Tuesday that a ballistic missile fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias has crashed in Yemen.

Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki said the rocket was fired from a civilian location in Yemen’s Amran province.

It crashed in Saada, he added.

He slammed the Houthis for their ongoing violation of international humanitarian law by firing missiles that crash arbitrarily in civilian areas, threatening the lives of residents.

Maliki stressed that the coalition will continue to take firm deterrent measures to neutralize the Houthis’ ballistic abilities to protect civilians in Yemen and safeguard regional and international security.
