The National Women’s Soccer League has reached the semifinals of the 2020 Challenge Cup. In the early semifinal game, we’ll have fourth-seeded Houston Dash taking on the eighth-seeded Portland Thorns FC at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.
Portland advanced to the semifinals by beating the defending champs, North Carolina Courage 1-0, they were also the only team to score a goal in the quarterfinals. Houston reached the semifinals by knocking out the tournament hosts, Utah Royals on penalty kicks.
