Housing association Castle Rock Edinvar has appointed Neil Ross as director of placemaking opportunities.
He was previously business development manager at partner organisation Places for People Developments, which is also part of the Places for People Group.
Ross has 30 years' experience in residential development and has had responsibility for all aspects of residential development from site identification to build completion and has delivered major mixed tenure projects.

Castle Rock Edinvar is Scotland's fifth largest housing association, working with nine local authorities. Places for People is a property management company which leases office space and other commercial buildings. Over the next three years Castle Rock Edinvar is to invest over £150 million to deliver almost 2000 new homes across Scotland.
Ross, who will be based in Edinburgh, said: “I’m delighted to join the senior management team in this newly created role to help build strong collaborative partnerships and find new opportunities for our special brand of placemaking north of the border.
