House with converted loft found full of cannabis after tip off leads to police raid

A large scale cannabis farm has been found at an address in Liverpool today.

Officers from Walton Lane raided a home in Walton while executing a warrant and found hundreds of cannabis plants.

Inside the property a number of the rooms were taken up by the cannabis farm, including a loft space set up with specialist vents and lighting.

Acting on local intelligence, police discovered 321 plants in total, at the Walton address.

A Merseyside police spokesperson said: "Today your local policing team from Walton Lane after acting on local intelligence located a large scale cannabis farm at an address in the Walton area of Liverpool.

"Officers executed a warrant under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 .

"Inside the address officers found various grow rooms that included the loft space finding in total 312 plants.

"Great work by the team and the local community for supplying vital information to us!"
