House pressures DOJ by passing measure to have Mueller report public

The House voted 420-0 on Thursday to pass a resolution calling for the Justice Department to publicly release special counsel Robert Mueller's report.

Why it matters: The measure reflects Congress' bipartisan interest in ensuring the report's findings on Russian meddling into the 2016 election. Attorney General William Barr has not promised to make the report public and is only required to notify Congress and contact specific lawmakers regarding the report's findings.
