Democrats on the House Oversight Committee publicly posted on X another page from Jeffrey Epstein's birthday book that referred to President Trump.
The big picture: The post that features an image of Epstein holding a large check with the caption, "Epstein and a longtime Mar-a-Lago member joking about selling a 'fully depreciated' woman to Donald Trump for $22,500," came hours after they posted a doodle in the document containing the president's name — which he strongly denies any association with.

- House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) in a statement accompanying the release of Epstein documents that the convicted sex offender's estate turned over to the panel criticized Democrats for "cherry-picking documents and politicizing" the information.
What they're saying: Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-Phoenix) said on X in a repost of the Oversight Democrats' post from the birthday book, which appears on page 156: "This disgusting exchange in Epstein's book shows exactly why we need full transparency and accountability — no matter how high up it goes, or who it incriminates."
- Representatives for the White House and Comer did not immediately respond to Axios' request for comment.
