Helldivers’ training is brief, and the newly arrived Xbox players only have a week before everyone gets deployed to the Terminid Hive Worlds in the next update for Helldivers 2: Into the Unjust.
On Aug. 26, Arrowhead Game Studios revealed the next major update coming to Helldivers 2 on Sept. 2. It’s called Into the Unjust, and for the first time, we’re taking the offensive and are attacking the Terminid home worlds, also known as Hive Worlds.
Hive Worlds have been terraformed by bugs, and these planets look quite different from what we’ve seen so far. Everything is covered with Gloom, spores, bug tissues, and all the other undemocratic substances on the surface and in the endless caves below.
That’s right, this time, we’re venturing underneath the planet’s surface in Terminid caves to put the bugs in their place. There are new mission types to complete, but be aware that underground, your Super Destroyer can’t provide support. This means preparing all the equipment in advance and giving Eagle-1 a deserved break.
Enemies have evolved on these planets, burrowing into the ground and erupting to attack. And this is without mentioning new enemy types, including the giant flying Dragonroach that spits bile and who knows what else (there are certainly Hive Lord-level tremors on these planets).

The Ministry of Defense launches a new Warbond to support you in the new designation. Dust Devils releases on Sept. 4, featuring three Stratagems and an assault rifle with incendiary rounds. In the meantime, Helldivers 2 also launched its first Legendary Warbond in collaboration with Halo, featuring ODST-inspired weapons and armor.
