Hour-by-hour weather forecast for Splendour Festival 2022 at Wollaton Park

The weather is set to be scorching ahead of the two days of Splendour festival. The event is set to take place on Saturday, July 23, and Sunday, July 24, with performances from Happy Mondays, Supergrass and Richard Ashcroft.

This week saw record-breaking temperatures across the UK with Nottingham hitting 39C. Thankfully, the weather is set to be a bit cooler but still extremely hot. Visitors to the festival will need to be careful when queuing to avoid staying too long in the sun and ensure that they are wearing sun cream and hats.

According to the Met Office, Saturday is set to reach temperatures of 24C with sunny intervals giving way to cloud by mid morning. The Splendour box office will open at 10.30am on both days with the site opening from 11am. The first act will start at 12.30pm with the first act on Sunday starting from 11.30am.

Water will be available across the site as there will be multiple stations set up to allow festival fans to refill bottles. Attendees are allowed to bring in their own plastic bottles but they must be sealed before attempting to enter the grounds. There will also be free tap water available at any of the on-site bars.

There will also be a number of food and drink vendors selling ice creams, iced coffees, and slushies across the site so visitors will be able to stay hydrated. Sun cream has also been advised.
