Hour-by-hour weather forecast for Nottingham as Storm Dennis approaches

Heavy rain and gales are set to pummel Nottingham this weekend.

Storm Dennis will hit the UK, bringing miserable weather for the county.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the whole of the UK and amber rain warnings for some parts of the country.

Gusts of up to 70mph are expected to batter the area this weekend with a chance of disruption on the roads.

The current forecast for Saturday (Met Office)

Met Office forecasters says that Storm Dennis will be potentially disruptive - with the chance of dangerous flying debris, tiles being blown from roofs and damage to buildings.

Journey times will be longer due to the foul weather and public transport could be affected. Roads and bridges may be closed.

Power cuts are also a possibility.
