Hour-by-hour weather forecast for Nottingham as more heavy rain approaches

Nottingham is set for a mixed bag of heavy rain and sun today (February 25) according to forecasters.

According to the Met Office, the city will experience a mixture of wet weather and occasional bursts of sun throughout the day.

Yesterday, a yellow weather warning for rain and snow was issued for parts of the county after temperatures plummeted.

But today it appears that temperatures will continue to stay low but it won't be cold enough to see any of the white stuff.

Forecasters are predicting highs of 6C and lows of 2C as it gets closer to the evening.

Meanwhile, weather experts say it will continue to feel chilly as it is expected to feel as cold as -2C.

Wind will continue to batter parts of the city with gusts expecting to hit 30mph in some places.
