Nottingham looks set to be battered by rainfall on Tuesday (July 7) afternoon and evening as heavy downpours are predicted for hours.
The Met Office has warned of a 90 percent chance heavy rain throughout Tuesday afternoon (July 7) and into Wednesday morning.
There are no weather warnings in place for Nottinghamshire as of 12pm on Tuesday.
In a stark contrast to heatwave of just a few weeks ago, temperatures will not reach above 14C on Tuesday afternoon, according to forecasters.

Wednesday:
A mostly cloudy day, with intermittent spells of drizzle through much of the morning. Drier into the afternoon with some brighter spells developing in the east. Rather humid. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
