Hour-by-hour weather forecast for Monday as temperatures rise

It finally feels like we're putting winter behind us and there's a definite change in the air.

On Monday, temperatures will continue to rise and we could see highs of up to 10°C.

However, there is still a risk of scattered showers which could turn heavy later in some areas.

We'll have mostly bright spells in the North East but cloud is set to thicken in the afternoon. Later in the evening, western hill areas will likely see heavy rain.

Here is the hour-by-hour forecast from the Met Office:

9am: 7°C - less than 5% chance of precipitation

10am : 7°C - less than 5% chance of precipitation

11am: 8°C - less than 5% chance of precipitation

12pm: 9°C - less than 5% chance of precipitation

1pm: 9°C - 10% chance of precipitation

2pm: 9°C - less than 5% chance of precipitation
