Hour by hour weather forecast for Ed Sheeran Roundhay Park Saturday show

Ed Sheeran's first night at Roundhay Park was a soggy one.

Fans struggled with torrential rain as they headed to the north Leeds park for the huge outdoor gig - and suffered downpours until The Darkness came on stage at 7.15pm.

The Shape of You star will play his second and final Leeds show tonight - and after yesterday's weather woes, we're sure fans are keen to see what the elements have in store for them today.

So we've got an hour-by-hour Met Office forecast for Leeds for the whole of tonight's gig - from gates opening to the three support slots and finally Ed's headline performance.

The good news is, Saturday is looking MUCH better than Friday. The general forecast is cloudy, with sunny intervals and temperatures between 17-19C. A complete contrast to Friday!

Here's your forecast for Ed Sheeran at Roundhay Park tonight:

4pm - Gates open

As the gates open at Roundhay Park for Ed's final night, the weather is forecast to be cloudy with sunny intervals, and around 19C.

5.45pm - Opening act (TBC)

This act didn't actually perform on Friday, but if it goes to plan on Saturday, the weather for the first act of the night should be similar - cloudy, some sunshine, and 19C. So far so good.

6.15pm - Lewis Capaldi

The fine weather is holding well for Lewis Capaldi's set at 6.15pm, with no change in the forecast.

7.15pm - The Darkness

More of the same, sunshine and some clouds, and it's forecast to drop to 18C (we doubt you'll notice). Much better than the soggy conditions of Friday!

8.30pm - Ed Sheeran

SUNSHINE! When the main man takes to the stage, as if ordered to by the weather gods, the sun will come out proper. It will be cooler - 16-17C - but we imagine by then you'll be too excited to care!

10:15pm - Show finishes

It's going to be a clear night - and around 16C when the show ends and everyone heads home.
