Heavy rain, showers and isolated thunderstorm are expected on Saturday as the Met Office issues another warning for Sunday.
The Met Office has issued the region with two weather warnings of heavy rain for this weekend.
The North East was issued with a warning for thunder and heavy rain for Saturday likely to cause transport disruption and perhaps flooding.

For Sunday, the region was issued with a similar warning with heavy rain with the possibility of disruption and flooding.
The weather doesn't seem to pick up at all on Saturday as rain is on the forecast right through to the early hours of Sunday morning.
The weather forecast for Saturday states: "Cloudy with fog over the hills and some longer periods of rain. This will turn heavy and perhaps thundery at times, especially during the afternoon. Light winds. Maximum temperature 19 °C."
And for Saturday night: "Heavy perhaps thundery showery rain will linger through the evening, before slowly easing during the early hours. Staying cloudy for all. Light winds. Minimum temperature 13 °C."
