Hour-by-hour weather forecast as North East to bask in glorious sunshine

The North East is set to bask in glorious sunshine with temperatures expected to hit 20C.

Wednesday will be dry with warm sunny spells for most of the day. It will be increasingly cloudy and breezy through the evening as showers or longer spells of rain move in.
