With a heatwave on the way, the UK is set to bask in sunshine in the coming days as the Met Office warned we could see temperatures rise to around 30C next week.
The ECHO previously reported that Liverpool will see a "consistent run of high temperatures" over the next few days ahead of the heatwave. But what does that mean for the weekend?
According to the Met Office, Saturday will see a cloudy start before the sunny spells appear towards the afternoon. Some parts of the region may see some drizzle over night.

A Level Three Heat Health Alert has been issued for parts of the UK next week, highlighting the potential health impacts of this type of weather. Met Office Deputy Chief Meteorologist, David Oliver, said: "The warm weather over much of England and Wales could last for much of next week.
"In the short term, many can expect temperatures in the mid to high 20s Celsius over the weekend, and then in the low 30s Celsius during the start of next week. Much of next week will remain warm for the time of year as well as dry and sunny for many areas."
Councils in Merseyside have issued important advice on keeping safe during the warm weather. Knowsley Council is reminding people to keep out of the sun between 11am and 1pm, wear sun cream, wearing a hat while outside and staying hydrated.
