Hour-by-hour weather for The Downs Festival 2019

Revellers at The Downs Festival should be able to enjoy a dry day today (August 31), according to forecasters.

But anyone arriving sharpish might get hit by a drop of rain as the Met Office reckons there is a 60 per cent chance of wet weather at noon.

By 1pm, when the doors open and the first act starts, the chance of rain falls to 30 per cent, with 12mph wind.

Thankfully, though, the rest of the afternoon and evening should stay dry and mild, with temperatures expected to reach a high of 19 degrees by 2pm.

So anyone fearing the prospect of rain-soaked performances from Loyle Carner, Grace Jones, IDLES et al can breathe a sigh or relief.
