Hour-by-hour weather for Nottingham with 9 hours of heavy rain forecast

After a flurry of snow, Nottingham and the county will experience heavy rain today.

The Met Office has forecast more than 9 hours of heavy rain tomorrow from 12pm until 9pm.

Parts of the Midlands are expected to suffer from intense rain and flooding. The Environment Agency has predicted another 10 days of difficult conditions due to constant rainfall.

There are currently three flood warnings in Nottinghamshire which include the River Trent at Carlton-on-Trent, Girton and Collingham.

Five nearby flood alerts also remain in place affecting the River Trent and River Don.

The River Trent reached its highest point since November 2000 recently due to constant and heavy rainfall. Water levels are expected to rise tomorrow.

Two days ago, Nottingham's Queen's Drive Park and Ride suffered "the worst flooding for a decade" and had to close due to heavy rain.
