Hour-by-hour weather for North East as cloudy day forecast

The North East is set for a dry but cloudy day to mark the middle of the working week.

The Met Office has predicted that Wednesday will be a dry day with generally light winds. There will be some patchy cloud and sunny spells, particularly into the afternoon, across the region.

Temperatures will most likely remain somewhat cool, especially along the east coast, with the maximum temperature being 10 °C.

It will also remain dry and largely clear into the evening and overnight with temperatures falling close to freezing as well as a patchy frost possible by dawn. Temperatures could drop as low as 1 °C.
