Heavy rainfall is forecast to batter Nottinghamshire for three days this week as the Met Office issue a yellow warning for rain.
The warning, which is in place between midnight on Tuesday, January 19 and 12noon on Thursday, is for all of the county alongside warnings of flooding.
Rainfall is forecast to take hold of the county for all-but-one hour on Tuesday, as temperatures rise to highs of around 10C throughout the day.
And in the warning, The Met Office say residents can expect "prolonged and heavy rain", which may lead to flooding and disruption.
The warning says: "Spells of prolonged and heavy rain may lead to flooding and disruption to travel in places.
"Homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.
"Fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a danger to life.
"Delays or cancellations to train and bus services are possible. Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
"Some communities may be cut off by flooded roads, possible power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses>"
