While residents of the North East will see more sunny skies tomorrow, the mood is set to change considerably as the weekend approaches.
Tomorrow's forecast is shiny and bright from start to finish, clear from sunrise to sunset across Newcastle and its surrounding area. Reasonable highs of 12C and lows of 8C could see a beach day on the cards for many.
Friday on the other hand will bring with it partially cloudy conditions, as thick white clouds come to block out the sunshine. The temperature won't change overly much though, with highs of 11C and lows of 8C expected.

The Met Office says to expect: "A fine, dry day with sunny spells once early cloud clears, although some could linger along windward slopes. Chilly on exposed coasts, warmer inland.
"Turning cloudier from the east later. Maximum temperature 12 °C."
