Hour by hour Greater Manchester weather today as temperatures hit 18C

After a glorious sunny spell this weekend, temperatures are set to stay warm today (Monday 9 May) with highs of 18C. But the sunshine won't last, with cloudy conditions making a comeback and showers forecast from this evening.

Mancunians will be waking up to a 'fine and bright' morning, but the winds will strengthen as some rain pushes in from the northwest this afternoon, according to the Met Office. The night will turn 'wet and blustery' for many, but the skies are set to clear through the early hours of Tuesday.

Overnight the minimum temperature will drop to around 6C. Tomorrow will see a mixed bag of sunshine and showers, with the rain becoming heavy at times. The wind will ease up slightly compared to today, although conditions are still being described as 'blustery.'
