The North East looks set for a day of all seasons today with everything from drizzle to sunshine on the cards.
According to the Met Office, the region will experience a cloudy start to the day with this eventually subsiding allowing for a sunnier outlook in the afternoon, albeit with the chance of rain. The leading meteorologists have forecast largely mild conditions with highs of 14 °C.
The Met Office have predicted the following conditions for throughout the day in the North East. They forecast: "A rather cloudy start, with drizzle over the Pennines, dry elsewhere.

"Remaining mostly cloudy until later in the afternoon, when it'll become brighter but with a chance of isolated showers. Feeling mild with a moderate breeze. Maximum temperature 14 °C."
Over the course of the evening, the region does look set to experience a very noticeable drop in temperate, so do make sure to pack a jacket or jumper if you are heading out! Luckily, unlike the start of the day, there is less chance of rain this evening.
The Met Office have forecast the following conditions for tonight: "Dry and bright away from western hills, where low cloud may linger. A little breezy initially, but winds will ease later. Clear spells overnight until low cloud arrives by dawn. Minimum temperature 2 °C."
