Hour-by-hour forecast amid Met Office weather warning for Bristol with 24 hours of rain possible

Bristol is expected to be hit by heavy rain this weekend according to the Met Office.

The forecasters have issued a weather warning lasting from 3pm today (Friday) until 3pm tomorrow.

Flooding of some homes and businesses has been described as "likely" by the Met Office, which also suggested road journeys are likely to take longer because of flooding and spraying.

The yellow warning also applies to areas including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Wales, and vast swathes of the Midlands, while parts of South Wales have an orange warning.
