(Picture: Google Maps)A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after suffering a critical head injury as she was dragged into a west London alleyway by a sex attacker.
The victim, in her 50s, was found in an alleyway close to a nursery off Martindale Road, Hounslow at 6.15am on Wednesday.
Police said they were called to reports of a woman suffering an injury after being pulled into the alley by a man.
They arrested a man, who was also injured, at the scene on suspicion of sexual assault.
An Ealing Police spokesman said: “A woman was reported to be injured and being assaulted by a man.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a woman in her late 50’s with a head injury.
“The woman was taken to hospital where her condition is life threatening.
“A man has been arrested by attending officers on suspicion of sexual assault.
“The man has currently been taken to hospital while under arrest. A crime scene is in place and enquiries continue.”
