CHARLOTTE, N.C. _ The thermometer still calls for sleeveless and breezy, but it's full-on fall in the fashion world.
At its annual fall fashion gathering for media types, Neiman Marcus showcased more than a dozen looks that will be big this season, from skirts with lots of swing to ways to wear rich berry colors from head to toe.
The goods that Neiman Marcus showcases aren't at most shoppers' price point. But the luxury retailer's fashion director, Ken Downing, does zero in on trends that are achievable in most budgets � and will be showing up everywhere, from discounters to high-end boutiques. (To set itself apart from the competitive world of high-end shopping, Neiman Marcus has launched an #OnlyatNM collection, where items are labeled online and in-store when they are exclusive to Neiman Marcus.)
