Hotspur Street: Child rushed to hospital after being hit by car in North Kelvinside

A child has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in North Kelvinside.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Hotspur Street at lunchtime today in response to a crash 'involving a car and a child pedestrian'.

Police confirmed the child has been taken to hospital by ambulance following the collision.

There are no details on the condition or age of the child at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed to Glasgow Live: “Officers were called to Hotspur Street, Glasgow, at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, 19 May following a crash involving a car and a child pedestrian.

"The child has been taken to hospital by ambulance.”
